Ward A.M. E. Church and MWE Ministries hosted a phenomenal event for the holiday season, SeasonFEST 2001, at 1177 W. 25th St., Los Angeles, CA on Saturday, Dec., 8, 2001, 2PM-5PM.
The program hosted by "Karla With a K," featured 3 segments of music---
- "Praise & Worship"
- "Reason for the Season"
- "Sounds of the Holidays."

The Delta Mothers and Sponsors Club FOUNDER'S DAY LUNCHEON presented the theme "Following Your Dreams To Success and Fulfillment" on Saturday, October 27, 2001, 2PM-5PM at the Proud Bird Restaurant, 11032 Aviation Blvd., L. A., CA.

BLACKS IN GOVERNMENT CONFERENCE, 2001

Blacks In Government held their 23rd National Training Conference at the Los Angeles Convention Center the week of August 27-31, 2001.
"Karla With a K" served as Mistress of Ceremony for the B. I. G. NTC:
- Opening Plenary, Monday, August 27, 2001, 9AM-2PM and the
- Closing Plenary, Friday, Aug. 31, 2001, 2PM-5PM.
Theme: "Retooling for the 21st Century--Setting New Standards of Performance and Productivity."
Keynote Speaker was Judge Greg Mathis.
Musical performances included:
