"Willie Lynch" History Lesson

While we are rethinking and revising the entire public school education system and enforcing the reauthorized No Child Left Behind (NCLB) legislation, we need to look at what our students are taught. Look up your state's Educational Content Standards to find out.

The "WILLIE LYNCH" lesson must be added to the Social Science Content Standards and taught along with the lesson on Slavery (Grade 8, Standard 8.9.6) in order to develop a true understanding of the racial implications of social, political, labor, economic and health issues the United States faces today.

We didn't get here overnight. Our history teaches us how we got here and how we can learn from our mistakes. Similar to the effects of "The White Man's Burden," the concept of "Willie Lynch" and the economic plan he taught, had a major influence on how American society thinks and behaves today!

The Willie Lynch Economic Plan, Lynch Law, "Let's Make a Slave", AKA, Willie Lynchism. This "economic plan" was the "hate crime" against African Slaves that created the racism and self-hatred Blacks have suffered in this country for centuries. This heinous plan was to create a social being called the "Negro," who would serve as the Anglo's labor pool and do the back-breaking manual labor it took to build the United States of America.

This economic plan served to manufacture racism as we know it in the United States. It's purpose was to create a "division of labor" among illiterate whites and African slaves. Enslaved Africans were forced to assimilate Anglo language and culture.

And what about property? Click here to learn about BANISHED, a film that reveals more evidence that descendants of American Slaves deserve Reparations.
