Urban Talk is about issues affecting our lives.

Urban Talk is about acknowledging that we all have a
different frame of reference and PERSPECTIVE,
depending on your 'hood. Your opinions, conclusions, attitudes and ideas
depend on that "frame of reference" or PERSPECTIVE.
Only by recognizing America's diverse cultures,
perspectives and frames-of-reference, can we
expect to arrive at new understandings and HEAL.

Urban Talkers strive to become enlightened about our issues,
about our politics, and our fellow Americans who are different
from us.
We WANT TO UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER or at least be aware
that different view points exist.

Urban Talkers are willing to discuss any and
all topics-- Pleasant and unpleasant; Erroneous or factual;
Lucid and misunderstood; Honorable or scandalous.

Urban Talkers are willing to educate, be educated
or re-educated; to accept or reject; to confess or suppress;
and to call a spade a spade.

Urban Talkers are open to replace the set of so-called
"facts" we learned in theory as children, with
the empirical "reality" we've learned from living life.

Urban Talkers want to discuss the good, the bad and the
ugly...and come out feeling good that we are able to
discover the truth and heal just by talking!

My PURPOSE as Host of URBAN TALK is to deliver a platform
that inspires HEALING, PERSONAL GROWTH AND ENLIGHTENMENT,
with the ultimate goal of learning to
FORGIVE and LOVE ONE ANOTHER and OURSELVES,
as well as learn to BE and GIVE our best
in the precious time we have left on this earth.
